The Relation Between Emerging Adults' Attachment Styles and Rejection Sensitivity: The Mediating Role of Emotion Regulation Difficulties
Research findings demonstrate that emotion regulation difficulties play a significant mediating role in the relationship between secure attachment style and rejection sensitivity among emerging adults aged 18-29. While this mediating role was not found to be significant in anxious or avoidant attachment styles, it was observed that females experience greater difficulties in emotion regulation, and these difficulties decrease as age increases. The study clearly highlights the critical importance of secure attachment and emotion regulation skills for professionals working with rejection sensitivity.

How Maternal Work Engagement Shapes Adolescent Achievement: The Roles of Perceived Maternal Support and Adolescent Academic Engagement
Research findings demonstrate, in this study conducted with white-collar working mothers and their high school-aged children, how mothers' high work motivation and engagement shape their children's academic achievement. The findings reveal that mothers' energy at work increases the "maternal support" perceived by adolescents, and this support indirectly strengthens achievement by enabling youth to become more highly engaged in their schoolwork; in other words, children's subjective perceptions and family bonds play a critical role in the transmission of positive work-related resources into the family domain.
